The funding of EMECW Basileus ends on 30 November 2011. Selection results of the 15/03/09 deadline were sent on the second of June to all applicants. There is a limited number of 88 scholarships available - the overview is published under the section applications - please note that the maximum duration for grants is 10 months for programmes with maximum duration of 10 months. The funding for the current Basileus project ends on 30 November 2011. Please note that the Basileus consortium will apply for a prolongation of the project until November 2012. The awarding decision of the European Commission for this new project will be made public in summer 2010. A new call for applications is expected on 13 October 2010 if the project is approved. There are about 80 scholarships to be distributed and we received 1124 applications. The results of the selection of this call will be published end of May / beginning of June 2010. An email will be sent to all applicants when the selection results are known. All mobility must start 1 September 2010 the latest. This date is imposed by the project grant agreement and therefore no delays are allowed. A new future call will be launched under condition that the European Commission approves and funds the prolongation of the Basileus III project. The awarding decision is expected by August 2010. This new call would be opened after this official decision, the latest end of August 2010 – with deadline 13 October 2010 and for mobility starting from January 2011 onwards.
